A limited number of annual memberships are available for those who are not related to a shareholder and are aged 25-29 years of age as of January 1 of the current golf season.  These members do not require a share and have the same member privileges as Shareholder or Associate members.  Senior Intermediates are also subject to the annual Clubhouse Minimum expenditure for the period November 1 to August 31.

A limited number of annual memberships are available for those who are not related to a shareholder and are aged 19-24 years of age as of January 1 of the current golf season.  These members do not require a share and have the same member privileges as other members.

A limited number of annual memberships are available for those who are not related to a shareholder and are aged 12-18 years of age as of January 1 of the current golf season.  These members do not require a share and have full access to our Junior Program but have more limited access to tee times than other members: tee times available on weekends and holidays after 11 AM.

A limited number of annual memberships are available for those who are not related to a shareholder and are aged 6-11 years of age as of January 1 of the current golf season.  These members do not require a share and have full access to our Junior Program but are restricted from booking tee times. Jr Junior members must be accompanied on the golf course by an adult member, or golf during supervised Junior days and times.

Memberships for those ages 30 and up require a Share to play at the Lethbridge Country Club.
Over 30 but not ready to become a Shareholder? We have a very limited Affiliate Member program, allowing non-shareholders to play on the account of a current Shareholder as a trial.

2024 Affiliate Membership option

  • This membership is available for someone who wants to golf at the Lethbridge CC without the larger initial financial outlay of the share purchase and initiation fees.
  • The Affiliate Member pays 125% of the 2024 shareholder rate.  All other optional fees (eg. spouse, juniors, club storage, cart rental, etc.) are at regular member rates.
  • If an Affiliate Member decides to purchase a share the following year, they receive a credit of the additional 25% fee they paid for the prior year’s fees towards the Initiation Fee.

Share Membership Purchase Procedure

Interested in obtaining a share in the Lethbridge Country Club? There are two ways to do so – either through the Club's Treasury or via private sale. Once you have a share, annual memberships can be obtained for the shareholder, their spouse (associate), and immediate family members under the age of 30.

Method 1: Purchasing a Lethbridge Country Club Treasury Share

  • As of May 30, 2023, the Club has three shares available in its Treasury.

  • To purchase a Treasury share, the buyer must pay a total of $6,384.65, which includes the Initiation Fee ($3,533 + GST), the share fee ($50), and the purchase fee ($2,500 + GST).

  • A 3-year payment plan is available to those interested.

Method 2: Purchasing from a current Lethbridge Country Club playing shareholder

  • Private membership sales require the purchaser to purchase a share from an existing shareholder with payment arrangements for the share itself to be made between the buyer and seller.

  • Once a share has been purchased privately, the buyer must pay the Lethbridge Country Club a one-time Initiation Fee. For 2024, the Initiation Fee is $3,533 + GST. Additionally, a $50 share fee is also required.

  • If you're interested in a financing plan, inquire with the General Office about their three-year options.

  • Forms necessary to complete the transaction can be found at the Lethbridge Country Club office. The share purchase form requires the signatures of two current LCC shareholders as proposers. If these signatures cannot be obtained, reference letters from two of the following must be provided: golf club or organization you are/were a member of, and/or current/past employer. After completing the form and submitting the transfer fee payment, it will be presented for approval at the next scheduled LCC Board Meeting.

Over 30 but not ready to become a Shareholder? We have a very limited Affiliate Member program, allowing non-shareholders to play on the account of a current Shareholder.
