Ariya Jutanugarn wins 2012 Royale Cup Canadian Women's Amateur Championship
The Lethbridge Country Club proudly hosted the 2012 Royale Cup Canadian Women's Amateur Championship which saw 125 ladies from around the world competing for the prestigious title.Sixteen year old Ariya Jutanugarn of Bangkok, Thailand eclipsed the field with an impressive 14 under par total over seventy two holes which included a course record 65 in the third round. Ariya's eighteen year old sister Moriya finished five shot s back in second place.
Top amateurs from across Canada as well as ladies from Denmark, China, Thailand, Australia, Trinidad and Tobago, U.S. and Mexico competed.
